great access to parks and city attractions for weekend strolls
I loved that this hotel was just about 2.5 km from the beautiful Alajuela Central Park and only a short walk from El Arroyo Park, making it so easy to enjoy some peaceful strolls in nature, while also having friendly staff and clean rooms, made my stay comfortable.

Super close to the airport!
We stayed for a night and it was a convenient spot! The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfy. Had a little trouble with the AC making noise, but the people at the front desk were helpful. We enjoyed some drinks at the bar area while chilling by the pool. The planes flying over were a bit loud at times.

Nothing to complain about, the venue met needs. Stayed for 1 night and was impressed by this trendy boutique hotel. It was fine, spotless and with a comfortable bed. The location was magnificent - near a roasted chicken restaurant, the San Jose airport, and a flight path. Greatly enjoyed the attached restaurant.

great service but noisy environment
The staff is attentive. They are always ready to assist with arrangements like taxis and tours. The breakfast options exceed expectations with numerous delicious choices. I enjoyed the lovely garden view from my room which added a nice touch to my mornings.
The proximity to the airport means it can be a bit loud at times, especially during the night.

Quirky and fairly clean hotel, the staff who served us were EFFICIENT, and it had favourable location to the international terminal. Location: the property was really close to San Jose airport and an early morning taxi to the airport and a casino, a Denny's, and a roasted chicken restaurant about a block away. It was close to Denny's, where you can have lunch.
Nothing for me!

Super tidy room, good restaurant!

The on-site tour desk helped us plan a fun outing to Oxígeno Human Playground, a blast for our two girls. The pool area was lovely and relaxed.
In my wife's opinion, the noise from the airport made it hard for the kids to sleep. A soundproofing upgrade would be great for families with children.

Convenient Stay with Room for Improvement
This hotel is perfect for a quick layover. The mango trees create a charming atmosphere, and the staff offers friendly service. Just beware of aircraft noise and consider arriving early to avoid traffic. Dinner was underwhelming, with delayed service-perhaps order something simple.

The staff greeted me warmly, and the restaurant served generous, delicious portions. Despite the occasional aircraft noise, the clean room and convenient airport shuttle greatly enhanced my experience before my early flight. Highly recommend!

The rooms were cozy and clean, and I adored the peaceful gardens by the pool. Perfect spot for a quick getaway before my early flight!
But, darling, the pizza was a little too adventurous-raw meat is not my idea of gourmet! It's more of a game of chance!

I stayed in a Queen Room with Two Queen Beds. The room was clean and nicely decorated, with comfy beds. The shower was good too. I did hear some planes landing, but it wasn't too distracting. The hotel had a nice vibe with pretty plants around. It was a decent spot for a short stay.

Mango Airport Hotel is a cozy spot just five minutes from the airport. The location is convenient for travelers. The staff were friendly and cute. My room wasnice and neat, with nice tile flooring and adequate air conditioning. The small pool area was lovely for lounging, surrounded by tropical plants. Breakfast included fresh fruits and typical Costa Rican options, and the pizza at dinner was delicious. The noise from the nearby road and planes can be disruptive, tough to get a good night's sleep. Noisy traffic continued late into the night, and I found myself wishing for soundproofed rooms. Breakfast orders needed to be made the evening before.
